Dino.raw
This project is my first attempt at learning how to create something from scratch without too many frills (hence the “.raw”) and is by no means intended to be commercial, quite the contrary.
It is, to all intents and purposes, a clone of Dino Runner, for the simple reason that it is the easiest thing (or so I thought) to start with in this world.
It's not perfect, but it works.
Since I knew nothing about anything, I enlisted the help of Gemini 3 Pro to generate the code. For what it's worth, debugging what was generated helped me learn a lot. This also allowed me to focus on the code architecture, bug fixing (as I mentioned), and understanding the life cycle of a game created from scratch.
As I said, it's a test, in its most humble form.
What's currently available:
- Jumping, collision management, and increased difficulty (speed).
- No distractions, just the pure logic of the original game.
- A project that started as an idea and ended up in its most vulgar form.
I am publishing it to document my technical growth. Moving from “knowing how to do it” to “publishing something that works” is the most difficult leap, and this game is proof of that.
